Men Or Women: Who’s Better At Lying?

Many differences between men and women are evident, others less. One of these is maybe related to the ability to lie: this is what a new study reveals.

Women resign yourselves: Pinocchio is male. He’s lying more and better, and maybe he’s lying more because he can do it better. In short, among the many differences that research reveals between the behaviour of men and women, there is also that which concerns the subject of lies.

The fact that men are less sincere than women is clear from a study carried out by the University of Maastricht (United Kingdom) to understand the behaviour of those who consider themselves to be expert liars. In the research, 194 men and women answered a questionnaire on how many lies they had told in the last 24 hours, what kind, to whom and what strategies were adopted.

LIES HERE AND THERE - The results showed that men are more than twice as likely to consider themselves experienced liars than women. Not only that, by analysing the answers, the researchers found that the males were much better at lying, creating credible stories in which they inserted the lies.
