It’s the beginning of the day, and you already know it’s going to be a long day. In front of you is a list of things to do. You’ll probably also have to deal with some tasks that you have not even listed: they are recurring activities and there is no need to write them down.

Things on the list are heterogeneous. Some of them hurry up in a few minutes. Others may require your attention for several hours. There’s one, or maybe a couple, that you’ve been putting off for a long time because it’s never a good time.

How do you behave so as not to feel overwhelmed?

Maybe you’re thinking of starting with the simple things first, which hurry up in a short time. So at least you have the satisfaction of crossing them off and the list gets shortened right away. And maybe now you feel you don’t have enough energy to tackle the most demanding tasks.

Of course, there’s nothing to stop it. But maybe there’s a better way.
